The HAAPA Zero Waste ankle boot is a Finnish update of the rural Chelsea boot, blending rugged functionality with sustainable craftsmanship. Made from upcycled matte nubuck leather, HAAPA features a mulesing-free felt collar for natural warmth, comfort, and heritage style.

The matte Heinen leather develops a natural patina over time, adding unique character to each pair. The chunky TR-rubber commando sole with deep lugs delivers reliable traction on loose and uneven ground, making HAAPA the ideal companion through changing seasons.

Produced at our factory in Pärnu, Estonia, HAAPA zero waste reflects our commitment to more sustainable design. These eco-conscious boots are made using a mix of factory scraps and surplus materials.

HEINEN LEATHER: Tanned by Lederfabrik Josef Heinen, this eco-friendly choice in shoemaking prioritises environmental and animal welfare. Heinen nubuck leather has a velvet surface with a slight nap, giving it depth and character, and will develop a distinctive patina over time.
