Crafted to mark our 65th Anniversary, the RUOSTE GORE-TEX® heritage Chukka boot is inspired by our first GORE-TEX® boots from the early 1990s. Featuring the original embroidered tongue motif from the ’90s, it blends Finnish work boot heritage with the easy-wearing versatility of a Chukka.

Crafted from heavily waxed Commander leather, its scratch-sensitive finish develops a rich patina unique to each wearer. No two pairs age alike, every scuff, crease, and mark adds depth and character creating a story that’s yours.

Waterproof, breathable, and insulated with GORE-TEX®, RUOSTE is built for winter. A chunky TR-rubber sole offers dependable grip on uneven ground, while the lower ankle height provides freedom of movement for everyday wear.

WAXY COMMANDER LEATHER: Produced in the United Kingdom using a traditional shrinking and waxing process. The hide is shrunken to tighten the fibre structure, increasing durability and resistance. Known for its aged look, the waxed surface gradually wears to reveal the leather’s natural character, creating a unique patina that evolves over time. Maintain with Collonil Organic spray, wax, or dubbin to preserve its rich finish or use less frequently to encourage a more weathered appearance.
