TOIVO is a timeless and rugged waterproof ankle boot. Named in honour of our co-founder Toivo Leppänen, who with his wife Kirsti, created Pomar in 1960. For the past 60 years we’ve continued to build a reputation for rugged, high-performance footwear- durable classics, updated for a Nordic lifestyle.

Built for all day winter comfort, TOIVO is felt lined with waterproof and insulated GORE-TEX®. A chunky TR-rubber commando sole provides traction and stability, ideal for muddy and slushy winter surfaces. The TOIVO work boot will keep you going – through rain, sleet and snow.

Wrapped in eco-friendly oak pull-up terracare® leather, which is quick to develop a vintage-patina due to its uneven and scratch-sensitive finish - this desired effect will add a unique character to your boots.

TERRACARE® LEATHER: Tanned by Lederfabrik Josef Heinen in Germany, this eco-friendly choice in shoemaking prioritises environmental and animal welfare. With a two-tone effect, natural appearance, and intentional imperfections, it maintains a soft feel, high breathability, and easily develops a patina from scratches due to the absence of a thick protective paint layer.
